Ruth has been working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in private practice for over 10 years, gaining a wealth of experience in treating many conditions.

Ruth Bennett

Ruth is a fully qualified and experienced Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal conditions and Women’s Health. She is also a Sports and Body Massage Therapist, Pilates Instructor and Pre & Post Natal Yoga Instructor. She has been working in private practice for over 10 years, gaining a wealth of experience in treating many conditions.

Ruth is a member of the Health & Care Professionals Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She has trained as a Pilates Instructor with the world renowned APPI – the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute and as a Pre & Post Natal Yoga Instructor with Amy-Yoga. Ruth is also a certified Mummy MOT Practitioner.

Ruth has undertaken an extensive list of post graduate courses – see Qualifications & Post Graduate Training. She is committed to continuing her professional development by actively attending courses and researching current concepts and evidence to help benefit her patients.

Ruth is passionate about her work and develops great therapeutic relationships with her patients. She takes great pride in witnessing their improvement and recovery. She loves helping people to understand their own body, move better, achieve more and enjoy life more.

Ruth had a baby boy in 2020 during lockdown! The experience of pregnancy, labour and the post natal period opened Ruth’s eyes to the amazing adaptability of the female human body but also the various conditions that women suffer through this perinatal period. So Ruth found a new passion – Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She has been training hard over the past 3 years to be able to deliver a high quality service and is loving supporting women through this important time in their lives.

In her spare time Ruth enjoys exploring the coast of Cornwall with her partner and little boy. She also loves walking, pilates and yoga, playing many instruments, singing and spending time with her family and friends.
